Boss ES-8 - Pretty cool looking!!!

    BOSS - ES-8 | Effects Switching System

I'm not sure how many people have seen this or if it's kind of flying under the radar, but it looks like the folks at Boss have come up with a great switching system.

They have been messing around with the idea for a long time (MEX, etc...) but I think they have the knowledge to really do it right. Seriously considering one of these.

    I saw this.

I have been thinking about getting a setting system that combines loops and midi -- so I can set up presets/scenes etc with my amp/stomp box effects and eventide.

Need more info on how they implement midi.

    would love the option to

    1. Assign a couple of switches to control midi effects on/off per bank
    2. Bank up/down switchable on fly (presets or midi banks)
    3. Balance (6 switches) use as scenes and effects on/off

or since I limit only 18 presets on my H9 -- I could theoretically create specific scenes within to engage them and not worry about midi banks etc

I have been thinking about this big time as well
