How Dow Guitar Necks And Bodies Affect Your Arthritis?

I have arthritis in my fingers and I have serious shoulder joint pains. when I play certain guitars -- the pain gets worse -- when I play others -- the pain is minimal.

Bigger necks seem to feel better and are easier to play.

For whatever reason -- the James Tyler Elite HDs with 59 Standard necks are the best guitars I have played not just from tone central -- but in terms of how they affect my arthritis and joint pain.

They are much easier to play. I don't get fatigued as easily as I do with other guitars -- and for whatever reason -- my joint pain goes down to very tolerable (almost pain-free levels).

    anybody have similar experiences?

Yep, had seriouse pain back of my hand from a thinline RG series neck.

Took out my old 80's model Ibanez Artist and the pain just went away.

I was amazed and relieved to have no more pain.
