Can't find R. Cocco RC10 strings anywhere in the U.S. --- they are done for the foreseeable future (production issues at the plant in Italy).

I really like a few things about the Coccos

1. Balanced tone (not bright/not dull just right -- steel is too bright)
2. Has vintage tone I like
3. smooth feel
3. Relaxed tension
4. They last a very long time

Any recommendations for alternative pure nickel round wound strings?

I am currently testing some Pyramid Maximums -- while they are good -- they

1. feel a little sharp (like they cut into my fingers)
2. Do not last as long
3. Do not hold tuning as well as the Cocco
4. Tension is a little looser than the Coccos (However I can live with that)
