Disclosure - I am that guy on TGP that has logged back in 3 million times under different names. Here is my bitch
- He bans for no reason other what he wants to do. He is the internet's most corrupt moderator and I have seen the worst
- Thank you for vindicating his shill status. My God one little critiscim of the price of a Suhr or Fractal - Ban. He is such a whore.
- He doesn't like Bikini threads. His sexual orientation is such, that he PUSHES that agenda, which is different then say 'live and let live'.
- Thought Police. KOL
The good news? He's ruining the place, membership is down, people are sick of his crap. It's going the way of Harmony Central if I have anything thing to do with it.
He's an all around liar, shill, sell out, waiting for his free gear, pushing his agenda.
So glad I am here. Really. No off to actually talk about music vs dealing with his bullshit.
We at BGT like Bikini threads

I have another name at TGP that I made years before I actually used the site. I never have logged in or re-registered. I know some mods from there come here sometimes. If any of them want that name so they can ban it I have no problem with that, just shoot me a message. There is some good info over there but I wasn't a good match for TGP and vise versa.
In some ways, it is (was) a lot like HC. On HC some guy with a $100 guitar used to say the guy with the $2000 guitar was an idiot. On TGP it was reversed. What I always thought was goofy is the guy with the $5000 reissue Les Paul would go to town on why it was better then an Epiphone or a studio but would lose their shit if you posted a real Burst and said his guitar wasn't as good. Kind of goofy, but as similar as it was in that way they tended to be more into high end stuff. Now, it seems like it's more about the low end. Not sure if that's due to the influx of HC members, the economy or a bit of both.
Some of the mods there I got along with fine, some not so much and I'll leave it at that.
I don't think TGP is going away. I'm actually glad for that because it's good for some things and I would rather be part of a smaller community with really knowledgable people that grows slow and steady and it keeps a lot of the, "my Series 10 with GFS pickups KILLS a Gibson" threads off of sites like this.
I wouldn't bother re-registering for TGP, though. Not really worth it, just sign up at HC. It's the same thing.
As for calling Scott gay and stuff I don't really know enough about the guy to know if that's true or not. If it is, it's his business. If he's not there seems to be enough legit things to bring up about the guy besides that.
I still will always admire him for having one of the best screen names of all time. I am willing to bet you couldn't register as OJ Simpson or even Drew Peterson.
Courtesy bump because he banned me again, for no reason other then no agreeing that Fractal and Suhr are all that. Total Sellout.
The Suhr thing I don't get. I think they're well built guitars, but a lot of their designs are too heavy metal/80s for me.
I think that their demographic is the guy who was a hair metal guy then became a Strat or PRS player. I would like to have a Pensa MK-1 at some point and I know they're good, but for $7000 I would rather have an old Strat or something.
This to me looks like a PRS for someone too ashamed to play Bang Tango toons on a Kramer at the local Blooze Jam. Again, not a knock on the quality, just seems to be a perfect guitar to market to a certain demographic. The headstock reminds me of my Kramer EE Pro, except that was really cheap and had the OFR and the flamed maple neck.
