Santa Cruz OO Eric Skye Build Photos

I recently had a Santa Cruz Eric Skye OO built for me. Richard Hoover and his gang were kind enough to take photos throughout the process. Thought it would be fun to share.

    Best regards,
    Matt

Thanks, Tag. Much appreciated. Here's a clip, but go in with low expectations... I am a rank amateur. Thanks.

    Best regards,
    Matt

Very nice! I'm having a custom build done now but I've been very disappointed in that the builder hasn't shared but one picture in five months

I understand your disappointment. Outside of the quality of instrument, one of the reasons I really like Santa Cruz and that espouse (and live up to) a philosophy that the build process experience and anticipation of the guitar is part of the thrill. I am having a similar experience with Jim Soloway on a Loon he is building for me.

    What are you having built?
    Best regards,
    Matt

It's a custom baritone acoustic. He's an amazing builder but, since this is my first build, I get jealous when I see other people posting "My xyz build thread!" with all sorts of beautiful pics But this thread isn't about me lol - sorry about that.

Yours looks stunning and sounds great. How are you liking it now - two months later?

Someday, I will dive into the Baritone world.

Two months later, I love it even more. It is such a comfortable guitar to play, and sounds way bigger than it is. I only wish I could do it justice.
    Best regards,
    Matt
